Terms of service.
Token Bar is an independent open-source macOS utility maintained by its contributors. These terms describe this website and its optional local report-drafting page. The software is licensed separately under the MIT License.
Your software rights
You may use, modify, and redistribute the app under the MIT License, including its notice requirements and warranty and liability provisions. These website terms do not narrow those permissions. No Token Bar account or paid subscription is required.
What the numbers mean
Local token counts depend on the records your tools make available. Speed and projected exhaustion are estimates. Quota is a separate provider observation. API-equivalent cost is a pricing comparison, not an invoice, subscription value, or promise of savings. Missing or stale records can affect results; check your provider for billing and authoritative account limits.
Feedback and public issues
Send only material you are authorized to share. Do not submit credentials, private logs, abusive content, or automated spam. Drafts are prepared locally. Review on GitHub sends the fields to GitHub before submission; an issue becomes public only if you choose to submit it there. A GitHub account is required to submit. See the privacy policy for data handling.
Availability and support
The app is provided as is under the MIT License. The website and drafting page may change or become unavailable, and there is no guaranteed support response or service level. Abusive submissions may be refused. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Independent project
Token Bar is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or any other tool provider. Their products and services have their own terms. Only downloads identified by the release page are published releases; previews and local builds may differ.
Questions and changes
Use the report page to prepare public questions about this site. Keep private information out of reports. Updates to these terms will be dated here; the software license remains the license supplied with your copy.
